SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION? 

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

When you first enter our website you will confirm your age (as by law you have to be over 18 to purchase alcohol) you have the option to opt in to remember your age by clicking the remember me button.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address, telephone number. This information will only be used to contact you with regards to your order, unless you opt in to email marketing

.Email marketing (if applicable): With your explicit permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

We use a hosting company 1and1. We have a SSL Certificate in place. We consistently update our website with the relevant updates. We use additional security measures such as two-factor authentication.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will ask you directly for your expressed consent, or we accept your consent is given when you sign up to our newsletter and further authorise this through an email.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

SECTION 3 – Payment

Our website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) provided by our website host 1and1. SSL secures the browser connection between visitors and our website with a 256 bit encryption. All transmitted data is therefore neither visible nor available to third parties. (This shows next to our URL – HTTPS) We use a secure payment gateway – PayPal to collect payments made from purchases on this website. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Paypal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. They guard transactions behind their advanced encryption and have procedures in place to monitor all transactions, to prevent fraud and identity theft. We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as a payment gateway have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. We use PAYPAL as our payment gateway.  We use MailChimp for our marketing communications. We use Google Analytics to analyse website traffic.  Information shared with any third party to allow them to provide us with their services can include:

  • Phone
  • Unique payment identifier – payment gateway
  • Payment provider identifier – payment gateway

We recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. As advised previously our website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) we also follow industry best practices.
