A taste of Lymestone, bottled
Lymestone Brewery c2008 is a family run micro brewery based 30 minutes from us in Stone.
The brewery runs out of the old Bents Brewery building, built in 1889.
Lymestone Brewery has three brewery taps — their on-site brewery taproom, The Borehole in Stone, and The Lymestone Vaults in Newcastle. All serving the whole range of Lymestone cask ales on tap, in addition to regular guest ales and real ciders.
Lymestone Brewery pride themselves on brewing great award winning ales to drink in great pubs. In fact their very own Borehole in Stone is undated with awards!
The Borehole scooped Gold in the Pub of the Year category at the Enjoy Staffordshire Tourism Awards 2019.
In addition it won the 2019 CAMRA Pub of the Year Award
If those two awards do not get you visiting, it has won a Tourism Awards for Dog Friendly pub of the year.
And we all love those!
